A Little About This Song…
The Unclouded Day was first published in 1885 by Josiah Kelly Alwood (1828-1909), a circuit-riding preacher who traveled on horseback through Ohio, Michigan and Indiana, participating in tent revivals and visiting small isolated churches. Also called “Uncloudy Day”, hymnals include a wide variety of arrangements and musical interpretations. Can be played lively or not.
