This song goes by a number of names but the two most recognized are Life’s Railway To Heaven and “Life Is Like A Mountain Railroad”. The music was published by Baptist minister M.E. Abbey and Charles Tillman in 1890, though it’s said a third party, Eliza R. Snow, may also have been a co-writer. The song’s unique imagery makes it a delight to share.
